the only good thing i got out of listening to this was to know that i never need to give lamp in terren another thought in my life. so bloody generic and forgettable that it hurt my feelings.

Manifesto

So I have long been obsessed with music. Its kind of like food or water for me, without it i wilt. I listen to so much fucking music that most times i can't remember what i've heard and who is who and who sings what. I rarely get a chance to learn the words or memorize what comes next or learn how to play anything on guitar anymore, since the maximum enjoyment for me is often to hear something i haven't heard before. and there's never any shortage of that. the last few years i have lost touch with a lot of music, and this year i am determined to get it all back. one step in that process is to engage just a little more beyond listening, to help my brain keep track of what is what, and so here we are, chronicling everything released this year that i get a chance to take in. i don't have a lot of time to spend here, and the list is going to be endless with new releases, so my posts are going to be short, gut reaction, poorly written pieces of shit. its not for you anyway, its for me, bitch.

4 star system? 5 star system? 10 star system? that shit never works. 4 and 5 don't mean shit. there isn't enough distance between mediocre and great. 10 star system... have you ever realized that there's no 'neutral' or 'middle' on a 10 star system? but wait, 5 is half of 10! that's the middle! no it isn't, shithead, because if 5 is the middle, you only have 4 options below it, and 5 above it. how the fuck is that the middle? how do you fix it? ADD FUCKING ZERO STARS AS AN OPTION, CUNTS.
